Vijay K. Verma, PMP, MBA, P.Eng is a group leader for TRIUMF, a Canadian National Research Laboratory located at University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, BC, Canada and a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). Providing project management services for projects varying in size, complexity and diversity and with over 25 years of project management experience in different capacities.
Based on his over twenty years of project management experience, Vijay felt that many projects fail due to human reasons rather than technical reasons. Consequently, his interest in the human aspects of project management grew, with extensive research resulting in three books in this area that have been published by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Recently, Vijay was awarded the 1999 PMI David I. Cleland Project Management Literature award for his third book- "Managing the Project Team" and the 1999 PMI Distinguished Contribution award.
Vijay has conducted hundreds of seminars/workshops on Project Management in the U.S., Europe, Canada, South America, South Africa and Asia, with participants from a wide variety of industries and various educational institutions and Professional Associations.
Vijay Verma has presented many papers and seminars at various national and international conferences on Human Aspects of Project Management and Managing Cross-Cultural Teams. He has over 25 years of project management experience and is currently a group leader at a Canadian National laboratory where he provides project management services for projects varying in size, complexity and diversity.

Vijay Verma has authored three books are on "the Human Aspects of Project Management", published by the Project Management Institute, USA. These books are included in the PMBOK review package for PMP certification. Any one of these books can be included with the an associated workshop if desired.
